Just a POP of colour
I chanced upon these photos taken by Brandon Barre. I am really taken in by the use of colours in the decorations below. Many of us are afraid to use colours in our homes, especially bright colours like fushia, turqouise and lemon yellow. The interior designer who did these rooms below used them so seamlessly and beautifully. The trick is to use neutrals, like white, black, brown and beige, as a base for the basic structural elements like the walls, floor and the main large furnitures. Then sprinkle pops of bright colours on accessories like carpet, paintings, cushions, lamps etc. The beauty of this is that you can always update the colours without much major restructuring and cost in the future. Hope this gives you some inspiration to redecorate your home. Have a blast decorating!
