I painted this in remembrance of my beloved German Sherpherd, Oscar. He is my sweetest, most intelligent and most handsome dog ever.

I chanced upon Russian Artist Valery Rybakow artwork on his website. He specialises in palette knife oil painting technique in impressionistic style, reminiscence of famous impressionist artist Monet. I love the textural and lively application of paint using just a palette knife. He always manages to bring out the soul and life of any subjects with his bold strokes of colours. I particularly love his landscape paintings. His paintints are currently bought by collectors from the USA, England, Italy, France, Canada, Australia and many other countries.
