Abstraction

Abstraction in interior design can come in many forms. It can be applied in details like lamps, cushions, paintings, carpets etc. It can also be applied in the achitectural aspect. Abstraction is something that is hard to understand and is really up to one's intepretation.

Abstraction applied on finer details

Abstraction applied on furniture. Check out the orange chair and the cabinet.

Abstraction applied on the achitecture. Check out how the window structure forms a symmetrical shape, framing the background scenery. Also, check our the fluid form of the chairs.

Abstraction above is done by using books to form a colourful arrangement on the cabinet. Beautiful and practical at the same time.

Lastly, colourful and asymmetrical windows, forming a Mondrian inspired artwork.
